Wood Memorial
Can Vyjack beat Verrazano? (I say yes)

Santa Anita Derby
Flashback is the favorite, but will be on the rail.
If Super99 stays around 6-1, that will be a great price. I think he bounces back.

I haven't looked closely at these races, but I know I don't like Vyjack in there.

After looking at it a little, I think if anyone can beat Verrazano it's Normandy Invasion.

In the Santa Anita I think it's going to come down to Flashback and Goldencents again. That was stiff pace they ran last time out. I think Hear The Ghost just picked up the pieces, but it's possible he's just looking for more ground and he'll win more easily here. Tiz a Minister is a decent longshot. He's lost a lot of races but he looks like he just wants more distance. This could be it. Should be an interesting race. I'd have to see the prices on this before considering making a bet.

Hear The Ghost is out with an injury. No way Super99 stays at 6-1.

In Lexington now! Never think highly of winners of the Tampa Bay Derby so in the Wood I'm taking a flyer on Always a Tiz. Calvin's up and we just know Boo just has to have a horse in the Derby :) Santa Anta Derby I love Tiz a Minister loved the way he closed and will be my Derby pick if he gets in. I think he'll relish the mile and a quarter

Saw that Stephen Panus retweeted your note about Kevin Krigger and Golden Cents. I follow him and did a double take when I saw your name. Made me chuckle.

Did you bet him?

Ed, yes, I bet him, partly because of the storyline, but also because he was 6-1 at the time along with Super99.

I still like Revolutionary as my favorite over Verrazano, but Goldie will be my second choice.
