Tim Janus finished a distant second to Chestnut with 52 hot dogs eaten last year, while Patrick Bertoletti was third with 51 hot dogs eaten. That has Chestnut listed as the big -1000 favorite on the Bovada odds to win the competition again this year, with 'Any Other Eater' set as the +600 underdog. As well, the OVER/UNDER for total hot dogs eaten by the winner in the 10 minutes of the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on the Fourth of July is listed at 63.5 at Bovada , with Chestnut having tied his previous record with 68 hot dogs eaten last year.
