As much as I hate their fucking smarmy asses, Cardinals always seem to find a way to win . Wouldnt bet against them.

Yeah, I had them in this pool a couple years ago when the Rangers blew like 40 chances to beat them. (Cruz gets a total pass for his horrible play)

Id not like to see them

Anybody except the Indians really wouldn't bother me. Will be rooting for the Pirates.

Gonna miss the NLDS, dammit. Hopefully the Cards advance. If they lose, at least I didn't have to witness it. It's a win/win.

I don't blame them for putting Cruz in there, go down swinging.

Some team is going to greatly overpay him, should he have a monster postseason.

Two of those starts were in 2009, and in one of them, he gave up 6 ER in 1.1 IP. He is a much different pitcher these days, and that Texas lineup isn't as powerful as it has been in previous years. Price has been pretty solid in his last four starts.

I'm rolling the dice with the better starter and better manager. TB hits lefties very well. -110 is a nice price tag.

I think hitting conditions are very different in Texas in the summer versus October.

i'd like the rays to win it, but i doubt that's gonna happen.... or well, hey, it actually has a better chance of happening now that they've got a young dale murphy reincarnate, wil myers, in the lineup.

much like i said when milwaukee just HAD to have shawn marcum at the cost of brett lawrie, kansas city is gonna rue the day that they decided to go "all in" like the 2011 white sox and give up a longtime cornerstone of their lineup for a couple'a years of "big game james" shields. yeah, shields had a better year than even marcum had with milwaukee.... but in the end it was worth zip squat zero zilch null, and within a few years rest assured an old bad james shields will sign with the mets.

if not the rays, shoot, idk who i'm rooting for more here.... terry francona to avenge his bosox shitcanning (in favor of bobby valentine, lest we forget.... altho one could claim that bobby's clown show put the organization ~3 years ahead of the curve in dumping the weight of the ad-gonz/beckett/crawford deals and getting them back to proper contention) or even boston to avenge theo leaving. if boston ends up winning a title this year it'll be some kind of HA, especially as we're nearing the beginning of the cubs dynasty that will win titles no less than 6/10 years thanks to theo and his plan. 29 other organizations don't have a plan... .but the cubs do. that t-shirt i still need to make of the starlin castro HOF bust has him winning the MVP in 2017 as he leads the cubs to the first of 2 titles (2017,2023) so yeah let's get on it!

Not so much AGAINST Kershaw. Medlen is on fire (4 ER allowed in last 43 IP). The Braves bullpen is vastly superior, and I don't like the Dodgers lineup without Kemp.

I have the Dodgers in a pool, so I was just curiosu.

Medlen was on fire last year going into the playoffs and then....not so good.

I see your reasoning though
