Monday Night Football Line

10/27 8:30 ET At Dallas -9.5 Washington 50

Bounceback game for the Bears? Probably. But will it be enough on the road against Belichik? Maybe it will do the Bears good to get out of Chicago and escape the noise. The GB line looks like a steal at -1.5 with Rodgers on a can-do-no-wrong run. Detroit -4 also looks attractive versus Atlanta in London. Sneaky Detroit is now sitting a 5-2. Calvin Johnson will travel to London but there is no sign yet he will play. Surprisers last week were KC, MIA and STL, all getting the upsets. KC and STL meet each other and MIA is -4.5 at JAC, who stumped Cleveland.

To painful to bet against the Bears with New England this week, but I don't see how they keep it close. There are no signs from the Bears that they are going to change something that could help them bounce back this week, as much as I hope for it, so I'm changing my mind. New England has the Bears number, just destroyed them last time in Soldier Field in the blizzard.

7-8 (.63) units

Houston -2 2 units

Was able to snap that one up last night with rumors of Mettenberger starting.

Thought long and hard about playing that game, but decided against it. If anything, I would have gone with the Chargers and the points. But Peyton seems to tough this year to bet against.

This is another good week for betting I think. Lots of low hanging fruit. The Seattle -4 Carolina spread was a gift, now at -6. Would like to snap up the Detroit -4 Atlanta game at London, but Bovada has not made the line available yet. Don't see how it will be close with Atlanta so bad on defense. Two weeks straight they've been blown out.

I will probably pass on the Bears game. I got it right last week, and don't want to push it to much. But if I had to lay a wager, it would be NE for sure. Could Morrissey have been more of a whimp with his article? "Well, the Bears have been too up and down, so I can't make a prediction, so I'm going with the Bears by 3." Are you kidding me? That's what you're paid to do. All those so called expert journalist handicappers are worthless.

According to the Sun Times today, here's how the experts are doing so far ATS.

Mark Potash (56-47-3)
Marc Silverman (47-56-3)
Doug Buffone (45-58-3)

Just with the Bears straight up, these guys are horrible.

Morrissey 2-5
Telander 2-5
Adam Jahns 2-5
Mark Potash 4-3
Patrick Finley 1-6
Hub Arkush 3-4

Took it on the chin this week, 2-4-1 so far with GB still left to go.

Won on MIA, BUF and tied on SEA.

Lost on DET, IND, PHI and GB.

Make that overall 13-8-1. How do DET, IND, PHI and GB all not win or beat the spread? Called NFL fixing the games.
