Post subject:  Bears Super Bowl Future

If anybody is still active offshore or going to Vegas this weekend, the Bears are now +420 and the Saints are +380 to win the Super Bowl (both +455 on the futures market at WSEX). Considering the Bears are favored in this week's game (currently -2.5/-130 on the moneyline) and they likely will be no more than +150 moneyline dogs (4 points or so) in a Super Bowl game...there seems to me to be fair value to buy a futures bet on the Bears to win the Super Bowl at 4.2/1 straight or at +4.55 on the futures market. Figuring the expected moneyline in the Super Bowl, this seems to be the only fair valued futures bet available. There is no value in buying a futures bet on the Saints.

I had some pending plays when Pinny closed that then won last weekend so I still had some $$offshore. Now with neteller down, it seems to make sense to just move it to another out best make a play on the Bears. I'm buying some straight on the moneyline and a futures play...which if the Bears get ahead in the game vs. the Saints, will become more valuable and I might sell the futures contract off during the Saints game...

Also bought:
Bears-Saints OVER 43
I suppose this is a "public" play in that this is consistent with the conventional wisdom on this game. I just see both teams getting over 20 in this game and I'll play it that way.

Coast - where are you doing your online wagering at ?

I'm at BoDog right now, and they claim they aren't going anywhere to US customers.

I bet the over too. You're finished! I cant pick dick!

I also love the Saints getting three. Can only see the Bears winning on a field goal late again. Push is a possibility!

I have no problems with this site.

BD, WSEX (where they offer futures) and the Greek. They aren't going anywhere either. The trick will be how long it takes to get the money out.

Why do you think WSEX or Greek aren't going anywhere ?

Not arguing, but I think a lot of the same opinions were expressed about Pinnacle.

Do WSEX or the Greek offer instant checking ? That's what BoDog offers, and it only takes me 1-2 days to get my money from gambling account.

BTW, do you see BoDog going anywhere ?

BD,

Calvin Ayre is one of the most arrogant young entrepreneurs on the planet today. If they’re going down, he’s not telling anybody in advance.

Then again, I expect that will apply to most of the books that are still catering to US players. They’ll drop out of nowhere. One day, business as usual. Next day, “we regret to inform you…â€

What are the funding options (withdraw/deposits) for WSEX ?

I would be find if it took a week or so to get the money as long as it is reliable.
