Packers +250 2U The Seahawks are fooling a lot of people. This isn't anywhere near the same team we saw last season. They haven't played a good team in 2 months and they've feasted on teams who had injuries, were bad or had just given up on the season in their last 7 games. Their defense isn't causing the problems they did last season despite their rankings. The Chicago Bears had more takeaways than the Seahawks. On offense, I think it is clear Lynch has lost a few steps. He rushed for over 100 yards 5 times this year, but in 8 of their 17 games he rushed for 67 yards or fewer. In most of his games his production was skewed by 1 long run (21, 32, 25, 22, 33, 21, 79, 25). Last week he had 1 long run of 25 yards, but had only 34 yards on his other 13 carries (2.6 ypc). On the other side we have a Packers team that has a hobbled QB (best om the NFL) and their offense hasn't been as explosive on the road. The great news for them is their defense has showed up in most of their road games. They've only given up 17.5 points in 6 out of their 8 road games. This isn't an offense that turns the ball over either. Their turnover/takeaway ratio was +14 for the season. Good for best in the NFL. Lacy seems to be gaining steam at the right time too. In his past 8 games he's averaged over 100 yards and 1 touchdown a game. I like the Packers in this game despite Rodgers injury. Seattle struggled to put away a bad Panthers team last week. They benefited from 3 turnovers and a QB that isn't very good or accurate. They won't have that same luxury this week. The Packers will use the Cowboys blueprint and run the ball down the throat of the Seahawks and use play action passes to take shots down the field. Their defense will shutdown Lynch and force Wilson to beat them in the air. He won't be able to do that against the 10th ranked passing defense with those weapons. Packers win 24-16 Playoffs: 2-3 +365 Regular Season: 31-48 +649 |

26-21 seahawk As a calf injury brethren, that shit hurts! and its terrible because its fine when you walk around on it, after 3 days, you dont feel it at all, then you go try and run and out of nowhere, its like you got shot! Just look at the replay of 12 in his last reg season on a roll out, looks fine, then grabs the leg like a blown hammy. Hitting the QB doesnt do anything more because of his leg, so its not you go after the injury, but they will be able to get 12. As for this defense of the pack? Lions, Bucs, Bills have been the last 3 games the game before that they gave up 37 to ATL. Seattle doesnt blow you on offense, they grind you down. You chase Wilson around and get tired and then late in the 3rd or 4th Beast mode comes in. And I hear it is noisy in coffee land! |

I understand what you are saying about the Lioins, Bucs and Bills, but the Atlanta game the points were all scored in the 2nd half when for some reason they decided to coast on a big lead. |

Seahawks failed to put away a team they were beating by 3 TD and ultimately beat by 2 TD after a garbage time score. They never trailed at any time in the game. I think you view that game as a close cover on a double digit spread rather than the blowout it was. The Seahawks are the exact type of team that has given the Packers trouble over the last three or so years. |

The Seahawks are the exact type of team that has given the Packers trouble over the last three or so years. It was a 4 point game until the 4th quarter. Even on 1 leg Rodgers will take advantage of the opportunities Cam couldn't take advantage of. If the game is close in the 4th quarter I'll take Rodgers over Wilson everyday of the week. This isn't the same Seahawks team. |

IMO Lacy getting a concussion changed the first game. The emergence of Adams also helps the Packers. He has to have a lot of confidence after his performances against the Patriots and Cowboys in the playoffs. |

Another reason to hate the Packers for me. I lost multiple bets on the line and the o/u. I did win the spread. With 4 minutes to go I just knew I was about to clean up. I called this game perfectly and still lost. |
