Runhappy should run those horses off their feet in the Sprint.

I'm leaning toward Honor Code in the Classic. But man, that's a tough race.

That's the 7th the Sprint were JOR Run Happy is in but also Savards' Private Zone is running and he's won me some $$$.I'll give my picks ...Races start tomorrow. When I was at Keenland 2 years ago for the Spring meet the Ramseys' (owners) broke the meet record with 24 the old was Claiborne farms that was 12...so keep an eye for white silks with a red KS on the back :wink:

Biggie, did you see my picks for a HAWTHORNE a few weeks back? I gave detailed analysis on just about every race that day and hit on 5 out of 9! Don't give me that crap!!!!

3rd Juvenile Filly 1-16th Love Song Bird has been around 2 turns the betting public will hammer Rachel's Valentia
4th Turf Sprint 5-1/2 Got the Ramsey's Bobby's Kitten ( last years winner ) Undrafted ( Wes Welkers horse) Lady Shipman who does nothing but win...so I'm going with No Silent a closer with Stevens up

5th Filly Turf Sprint La Verdad wheeling her back in a week?

6th Race Ladies 1-3/16 on the turf Legatissimo we will see how good she really is like an exacta with Beverley D winner Secret Gesture

7th The Sprint here you go JOR Run Happy has been runnung out of his shoes...but despite his PP I'm going with Savvy's Private Zone ( BF Eddie O had a horse Rays the Bar he was whimperng like a little bitch before the race and he finished 11th which beat my horse Camelot Kitten :lol: )

8th Race 1 Mile turf This is Spmacks Baby Tepin I however last years winner Karakontie at 12-1

9th 1-1/16th Juveniles Greenpointcrusader won the Champagne and love Jersey Joe in the Irons
10th 1-1/2 Turf not the Pizza Man but the Ramsey's Big Blue Kitten and a riding double for Joe B :shock:
11th 1-1/4 Classic looks like it's raining so AP goes out a champ

I've been looking at the Form so much my eyes are bleeding. A few thoughts:

I can't see them beating either Songbird in the Juvenile Fillies or Golden Horn in the Turf.

In the Juvenile, I like both Romans horses. They could run 1-2.

I've spent a lot of time on the Sprint. I'm trying hard to put aside any emotional attachment I have to Runhappy. On one hand I believe he may be the best sprinter to come around in a long time. On the other, I'm not sure that 6 furlongs is his best distance. And I see Holy Boss sitting there almost forgotten. He would be hard for me to ignore at 10-1 or something like that.

In the Classic, the defections of Liam's Map (to the Mile) and Beholder (scratched) create a likely pace scenario that is overwhelmingly favorable for American Pharaoh. I still might try to beat him. During the Triple Crown chase, Buster and I had some discussions about the relative strength of this year's three year old crop. At the time I believed it to be exceptional. I've come around a bit on that viewpoint. And I think Honor Code is set up well for this race. And if AP isn't at his absolute best, Honor Code will whistle by him. But HC is subject to the pace. He will probably need a horse- Smooth Roller seems a possibility- to lean on AP a little or at least keep the pace honest.

Once Smooth Roller was scratched, I thought AP was the biggest lock in the history of the world. I'm sorry I didn't have more money to bet him.
