Post subject:  San Pascual Stakes

California Chrome makes his long-awaited return to the races this Saturday at Santa Anita. He's been working brilliantly and figures to be the prohibitive favorite. There are two interesting horses in there that I think have a chance to beat him. There's the mile and a sixteenth specialist Hard Aces and there's Point Piper who looks like he's sitting on a huge race. Depending on the odds I will be sending it in.

I like Hoppertunity as well. Not of fan of betting Chrome at 4/5 and it's been over 9 months since his last start.

Just saw this post - have been too busy to pay attention to the ponies right now.

Chrome won for fun - they let soft fractions happen on the front and realistic no deep closer was going to catch anyone near the front.

Yeah, but he was tired at the end. Espinoza had to get after him a bit. He should be good in Dubai.
