California Chrome makes his long-awaited return to the races this Saturday at Santa Anita. He's been working brilliantly and figures to be the prohibitive favorite. There are two interesting horses in there that I think have a chance to beat him. There's the mile and a sixteenth specialist Hard Aces and there's Point Piper who looks like he's sitting on a huge race. Depending on the odds I will be sending it in. |

I like Hoppertunity as well. Not of fan of betting Chrome at 4/5 and it's been over 9 months since his last start. |

Just saw this post - have been too busy to pay attention to the ponies right now. Chrome won for fun - they let soft fractions happen on the front and realistic no deep closer was going to catch anyone near the front. |
