I never win those fucking things, because I always get shitty numbers. Two years ago, I get 7 and 3, and there was a safety on the first play.

I think it was '95 or '96, whenever Dallas beat Pittsburgh. Three other guys and I hit the final on a $1,000 square. There were a lot of different payouts- quarters, half, every time the score changed, plus I think whoever drew 2-2, 5-5, 8-8, and 9-9 automatically won $250. Whatever was left over went to the final. I don't remember exactly, but I think my end was over 6 grand.

Back in college I was working a barely above minimum wage job at a telemarketing place and a worker there had put together a $100/sq pool, and then Super Bowl weekend happened, some guys won, Monday comes and he never shows again, pockets a quick $10k. Supposedly moved away -- I never heard if anyone found him.
