I just love this fucking podcast. I normally wait to finish it off on the ride home, but I had to put the remainder on in my office.

I am disappointed that I listen to it with coffee in my hand while they do their beer segment. I wish I had that on a Saturday afternoon so I could do a drink along. Yeah that may sound a little gay, but so be it.

My experience when we built this house is, depending on how bad the damage is, your maple had a chance to be fine. If it was an oak you'd be in more trouble. I'm trying to remember if the arborist guy we had (he was on construction crew, formerly an arborist) said sugar or red were the ones best able to take the disturbance.

Great as always, and I know it's a low bar, but still better than what's on 670 right now.

listening at the gym, you guys did a great job tip-toeing around doxxing, both doxxing germane to the board and in general. It's a very difficult subject but you two did a good job.

Also, I'm the best co-host not counting Danny Mac.

My buddy's been sick, and we're just generally awful about putting out episodes regularly. I've got some other things in the works though.

Thanks for taking my question. This is a much better episode than anything drinky produced. Think about it. When was the last time anyone praised the production of shows drinky produced?

You don't have to guess. I'll do the work for you. The answer is none. 15 year career and no one can praise his core skill. How pathetic.

Beerdown: Drinky sucks

What is: Excuses Julie DiCaro relies on to explain her inability to see a project through?

I have to take issue with something Chus said. Bob Weir is an awful singer. There is a reason that the surviving members of the Dead have to bring in someone like Trey in order to sound decent.

Jerry was the best and Weir is just hard to listen to. He was the Grateful Dead, everyone else was just along for the ride.

this is really putting beardown in his place, im not sure what BearD's counter is other than hoping the mult gets tired of doing the bit

And on doxxing--and the specific situation regarding a board member is key here--it's not just about revealing an embarrassing history or personal facts, it's about using identifiable personal information to harass someone, like a personal email address and a real name, which could be used to find a home address, which can then turn into a home phone number, then a cell phone number etc., all things that might be out there for others to be seen on a certain database of "free" citizens.

He's OK in that one, but when you hear him sing Jerry's songs (like Ripple, UJB, etc.) ehhhhh not good

WYC - Chus is talking about being uncomfortable with doxxing and he is the one that leaked the info to me and 10-20 other board members via PM?

I'm glad you did the research and were integral in getting this posted...but let's not lie about how this went down. You provided the info to some folks you know to be shit starters ... you wanted the info out there.

Sending a few PM's to people I trust, or at least thought I could trust, is the same thing as posting it, under a mult, for everybody to see? That's quite a leap.

IMU wrote:

I didn't lie about anything. I told a few other people who didn't receive those PM's, including good dolphin and Dr. Ken, that it was me who found it.

IMU wrote:

Speaking of shit starters. I am responsible for the behavior of "known shit starters"? And I have no idea who used a mult to post it on the board. Again, another huge leap.

IMU wrote:

I just passed along some information that took three minutes to find. Your ire should be directed at whoever posted it publicly, under a different name. But, it's probably one of your pals, so you are swallowing the whistle.

Bob can't sing nowadays, but he was great when the Grateful Dead were touring. I'm talking about Bob from the 70's and 80's. Trey isn't a great singer either. They needed somebody who could play lead guitar and sing, to do Jerry's parts. It wasn't to cover up for Bob.

The rest of the band were phenomenal musicians, too. They had to be to do what they did.

Now now now... don't crap me now. If you were the original finder of the link, that means you poured the gas and handed over the lighter to the pyros. You can't be surprised and uncomfortable at the outcome.

I'm not surprised or uncomfortable. If you want to pound me, go right ahead. I will take your bullets, while the coward who used a mult to post it for everybody to see, hides in anonymity.
