However, the still-recovering right leg -- Woods used his clubs as canes frequently throughout Saturday's third round -- showed significant fatigue (at a minimum), and he was unable to display his normal discipline throughout the course.

Because he's an overachieving sicko. To be an overachiever and have the best talent is rare. Extremely rare. There's him, Jordan, and Brady. Scherzer isn't the best talent, but he certainly is a sicko. Retiring for these guys isn't a final culmination of great career, it's a fucking punishment.

I love all the drone shots they are using. Not sure I really like all the Megladon camera shots. They look weird to me.

The difference here being The Champions Tour, which would mean Tiger wouldn't have to "retire" until he's almost 70.

I can’t believe I’m rooting for “Joe Dirt” Cam Smith to close the gap to make this at least interesting.

I’m guessing a shave and a haircut could net him another $5M in endorsements.

If there was a Wordle for last names, guessing the leader’s last name would net you only one wrong letter from my last name….

But nobody cares about the champions tour. I watched pretty much every shot he hit this week. I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch the back nine of a sunday champions tour event he was leading

Crazy sand shot by rory on 18. At least opens the possibility of scheffler imploding. Only a par on 13….

And then Morikawa makes it from the same bunker (though more of a direct line). Has it ever happened that two players in the same group holed out from the same trap? In any major tournament?

Well that 4 putt paid off nicely for me. Stix is the local indoor golf place here and they had a contest. I had Scheffler at -9, won a dozen Callaway Chromesofts, an hour in the simulator and some Stix swag.

Did he ever?

Isn't Tiger on 'roids like the worst kept secret of all time? He went from skinny 21 year-old to Mr. Universe in about 18 months.

Golf just doesn't care. David Duval suddenly became a specimen and then unexpectedly got some kind of ailment and his body broke down in 2 years. Happens all the time to 27 year-olds.

I'm 50 (and I'm not going to get a whole lot better) or (I'M A MAN!!!) (couldn't pick the best reference) and my body is only breaking down right now. I could use some drugs.

I love Verne.

But Verne has sounded like Verne for 40 years.

Nobody is named Verne anymore.

Do you know anyone named Verne? It's not even short for anything, is it?

That is that dwarf. Also, Verne Gagne was a famous wrestler, but I understand your point.

When I was in the horse racing business my nom de course was Vernonshire Racing. On occasion I would receive mail- mostly advertising- addressed to Mr. Vernon Shire.
