The photos and video of Tiger without the sleeve on his right leg are pretty gruesome. My goodness I can’t believe how his leg is tied together.

Still don’t believe golf should be an Olympic sport but the final 5 holes is shaping up to be pretty exciting.

Scheffler shoots 29 coming home. Pretty incredible final round 62.

Didn’t realize how badly Rahm shat himself today with all the focus on Sheffler’s insane round.

29 to 39 on the back 9. Rahm had a 4 stroke lead on the field at the turn and didn't even medal.

I’d like to see them do match play. It’s already only a 60 person field. Make it 64 and do a bracket. Only ends up being more golf than a normal week for the players that make the final 4. With it being the olympics, the semi-final losers playing for 3rd would be “medal or nothing”

Unless he totally shits the bed today, Nick Dunlap will exceed 4 million in prize money for the year. Not bad for a kid who was in college in January.

And didn’t get the winner’s check for his 1st win, $1.5M.

Nice battle down the stretch here at the BMW between two of the nicest guys on tour Keegan Bradley and Adam Scott. Bradley one up with 2 to play

My guy Bucky got fat today. I think Bradley was around +5000.

East Lake should be pretty interesting this weekend. They plowed under the old course right after last years tournament and had a guy come in and re-do it and try to take it back to how it originally was 100 years ago. Staggered start leaderboard is always a bit weird but has proven over the years that if a guy is playing well he can claw his way up near the top. This will be the last consequential golf match until probably the Presidents Cup if that moves the meter for you.

And they are ready for play already? Impressive.

Is there a better hypothetical playoff system than the handicap start that happens at East Lake? Scottie at -16 after round 1 and the rest of the pack starts their chase at -9 today, and that just seems...off. Like, can you reward regular season success with some passive perk in the playoffs but then make the final playoff tournament just an even winner-takes-all event?

Well if you didn’t do something similar, who is going to watch? Scottie lapped the field and it wouldn’t matter.

I used to feel that way about it but in the end the way they do it is the most equitable and rewards the players that have performed better than everyone else during the year. There have been years where it becomes a very exciting finish. Scheffler is a machine and I don’t suspect anyone will get close enough to make it interesting this season.

Morikawa doing his best to make this thing interesting. Another 63 and he could be right there with Scheffler.

Love that after putting out for the win ( and $25 million ) Sheffler didnt even really smile until he saw his wife and baby boy come thru the ropes . He may not be a dynamic personality but he sure seems to have his priorities in order . Congrats on a great season .

One thing about fall golf is that you get to see a lot of guys get their first win and how excited they are . Glad to see McNealy get it done .

And on the flip side, two former major champions lost their card (Francesco Molinari and Jimmy Walker).

because I watch a lot of YouTube golf lately, I was really invested in Wesley Bryan the first two days but he has no one to blame but himself for not making the 125. He was set up perfectly and choked it away on the back nine on Friday. Based on his interviews previous to that he doesn’t seem to want it all that much primarily because He knows he can make a living with the YouTube stuff And its far less of a grind. That being said, he still almost made $1 million in his limited tour appearances this year. Not too shabby for a part-time player.
