I doubt a lot of folks are going to be interested in this but thought I’d start a thread. Erin Hills is one of the finest public tracks in the Midwest and it’s one of the most beautiful walks you’d ever want to go on. Looking like basic practice round tickets on Wednesday are starting at $25 and you can get a slightly more premium ticket for $55. Obviously you could pay even more for top shelf access. Ticket prices go up for official round action. Really easy drive NW of Milwaukee. I am almost certain to go as I have a personal connection to the course and it’s one of my favorite courses ever. Hawg do you think you will venture up there?

LPGA events are great. I take the kids to the Chevron Championship every year since they moved it to the Houston Metro area. Great access on all of the holes, everything is like a front row seat.

Also I think this was mentioned in another golf thread but it’s also fun to watch the LPGA events because the play is so much more relatable. The ladies aren’t dropping 185 yard pitching wedges onto the green.

The ground will still be frozen. The ladies should get plenty of roll.

Thanks. That seems early for a US Open. The Woman's is usually right after the men's.

Isn't Erin Hills the BBW porn star who gets nailed by JMac in Donk in the Trunk?

agree 100%. Used to love watching the ladies because quite often they are using the exact same club I would be using for a particular shot.

I waited too long to get tickets and never made the connection that Memorial Day was this weekend. All the Monday and Tuesday tickets are sold out. Guess I will have to watch it on TV which is a little bit of a bummer, although I really wasn't interested in going on Memorial Day. Fortunately they have MANY tournaments coming in future years and plenty of chances to get out there.

Coverage on USA first two days. Watching it now. Probably my favorite course I’ve ever teed it up on. Played it when they had a trailer as a pro shop and then a few times after the redesign. Just a gorgeous piece of property. It’s too bad the men will never go back but they do get a lot of premiere events for amateurs.

Course looks like it’s playing tough today. What a great piece of property. Hawg have you played there?

Once, right after it opened. It has been redone twice since then. It is massive and they are supposed to build another 18, design is done.

Interesting to hear your take on the course, T-Bone. Maybe you have to play it, but on TV it looks gimmicky and ticked out.

I found it fun to hit so many dramatic shots on one course. They really moved very little land so I think that is also part of what I like about it.
