Anybody have experience ripping bulldogs up and down in deep water for the fall bite? Going to the Chippewa Flowage in a few weeks and my guide (Musky Pete) says we're going to run suckers and fish deep water w/ bulldogs. I have a few bulldogs in the boat, but haven't worked em yet. Would love some pointers.

Call me a football snob but I will never listen to a show unless it refers to the linebackers as Mike and Will.

There's one thing you can count on Mac. Your posts will be a 100% effective lure for a stalker named Gloopan Kuratz. His has this fantasy of you dressed in a lace teddy.

Judging by the wings and the shape, I'd say its a falcon.

Never used Bulldogs Mac. I have only thrown the large spinner baits, inlines, plugs etc. Are bulldogs like down riggers to keep the sucker deep to the bottom?

Joe Orr knew a couple of ladies that did this along Belmont Ave back when he was in his punk rock and or roll days.

What happened, according to Chitty, was that "the Boohoo reached up from the track and got hold of Muskie's pants-leg waving an empty martini glass through the bars around the caboose platform with his other hand and screaming: 'Get your lying ass back inside and make me another drink, you worthless old fart!"
"It was really embarrassing," Chitty told me later on the phone. "The Boohoo kept reaching up and grabbing Muskie's legs, yelling for more gin...Muskie tried to ignore him, but the Boohoo kept after him and after a while it got so bad that even Rubin backed off."
"The Boohoo," of course, was the same vicious drunkard who had terrorized the Muskie train all the way from Palm Beach, and he was still wearing a press badge that said "Hunter S. Thompson - Rolling Stone."

Why not find a fishing message board, maybe even a musky board? You would probably have more success finding the answers that you desire.

After a three second google search, I found this:

http://www.muskyhunter.com/forum/forum. ... 786e99af03

That forum has more than 7,000 members. Far more than this place, which you proclaimed to be dead.

If Mac started a "NSFW: My High School friends I've seen naked",maybe they could become closer.

I do like Mac. I thought my suggestion was very logical.

FWIW, it's possible to read it with a considerably more acerbic tone than I'm sure was intended.

I'm not sure why some are making a big deal about it, but I certainly haven't. My suggestion was a serious one, and a good one. Other than Steve Sarley, who has ever talked about fishing, much less musky fishing? Mac said it himself. You have to drive to the great north woods to do some musky hunting. I suspect there are not a ton of musky hunters around here, as evidenced by zero threads dedicated to the sport. I spend a lot of time on sports gambling forums. I'm sure JORR and spmack spend time on horse racing forums. IMU probably spends time on hot hatch forums.

If one truly desires musky talk, then wouldn't a musky forum be the most logical place to do so? Especially one with more than 7,000 members. If one wants to talk Bears, Hawks, Chicago media, and general BS, then this is the place.

What is so difficult to understand here?

It did read as acerbic as Don Tiny said.

My apologies.

Dickface.
