I love me some major golf. Not ready to make a pick yet, gotta see what that weather is gonna be like.
BUT:
Phil Mickelson brought the jug back today. One of the things he did with it?:

Drank a $35,000 bottle of wine out of it. He said "nothing bad" was allowed to be in it while it was in his possession.

I rarely/barely tolerate wine. WTF could make a bottle of wine worth $35k?

He just had a MRI on his wrist yesterday but everything came back good and he is playing.

His excuse is that he hurt his wrist lifting all his Ryder Cup trophies.

I'm surprised that you are so quick to defend a guy who made Anti-Semitic comments on twitter.

I picked Justin Rose which means the poor bastard won't make the cut. I'm the kiss of death.

Bingo. Stop and get donuts and go to my buddy's house. I still lean toward the Masters for favorite. If only that fucknut nantz wasn't there.

My buddy comes over on Saturday morning around 7:00 or 7:30, and we drink beers from whichever country is hosting. Last year for Muirfield, we drank Scottish beers, and made Scotch eggs.

I like to zag right when you are expecting a zig :)

Actually, i don't think his comments were really antisemetic. For some stupid reason, Tottenhan fans are called "kikes". Poultier is an Arsenal fan, the big rival of Tottenham. He made a comment about the fans and used the word Kike. Not completely innocent, but not exactly like he went out and joined IMU's Hammas fan club.

I'm going with Zach Johnson, though Adam Scott is really in top form. There is no good reason he should not be at or near the top of the leaderboard all weekend long.

I like him this week. He may just be on my bench in "group A" in the fantasy league.

Watched a few hours this morning. Tiger started slowly but appears to have rebounded.

Yeah, he finished at -3. Rory another good start, lets see if he can get thru Friday's round. It has killed him lately.

Ernie Els 3 putted from about a foot and a half, and he's +7 thru 16. Ouch.

Almost killed a spectator with his drive on 1. Mentally out of it after that.

Anyone bet on three Italians being in the top 5 after round one?

Tom Watson birdied hole number one to get to T34 at even par. I really hope he plays this weekend.
