I'd like to see Rory get his career grand slam. Tough to bet against Scheffler they he's been playing though. Not really a long shot, but Matsuyama has been playing pretty well this year and he loves that place.

Yeah, Hidecki is one of my top picks, but his putting in the last round of the Valero scares me a bit.

As Hawg said earlier, if Scheffler has the flat stick working its probably not going to be to possible for anyone to beat him. I think Speith makes a run over the weekend.

Horrible forecast for tomorrow, 90% chance of storms with 40+ MPH gusts. Friday dry, but still very windy. With 20-30+mph winds the first two days, par is going to be a very good score most of the time. Weekend weather there looks fantastic.

Gary Woodland with an ace, and just lipped out a potential second ace.

Wow. What a story for that man.

Weather looking pretty crappy down there this morning. Hopefully they can get guys out there and the course doesn’t take on too much water. Would be fun to see the course play firm and fast.

Looks like it should clear out. I'm with you - I want to see the course playing firm and fast this weekend.

The wind later today and tomorrow should negate any water the course takes on.
My neighbor is on the grounds today.

Best golf weekend of the year...lets go!

The guys that are out early have lucked out as the wind hasn't kicked up yet.

Only cuz he is.

But he does look to have that perma-limp that seems like it’d make getting around Augusta very challenging.

He is hitting the ball exceptionally well but, all the walking and hills is going to kill him. Plus he'll have to play 5-6 holes early, then start his second round later tomorrow.

Tiger finishes the first round at +1. Probably going to need even par in the second to make the cut.

Going to be a long day for Tiger to finish and do another 18.

He looked 10 years older in the 5 holes this morning than he did yesterday. Anyone that wasn't one of the all-time greats would have retired by now. He's still great, and would probably shoot 60 every round on the courses we all play every weekend, but his body just isn't going to let him train and compete at a PGA/Masters level.

Cut line right now is +2. With the high winds today I don't see that going down and it may even go up.

You see all these past Masters/major champions struggling...Spieth, DJ, Harman, Justin Rose, Adam Scott.

All likely to miss the cut. Golf is hard.

I'm watching the feed at work. Spieth looks off, like he doesn't even want to be there.

Oh yeah, he's definitely off between the ears.

And then you get ol' man Jose Maria out there starting to heat up

Funny game

75.5 is the average score for the second round right now. I can't imagine that goes down much with the winds still up this afternoon.

#11 is just a beast today. Scoring higher than the par 5 second.

Cut line at +4 right now. 24 consecutive cuts made at the Masters for Tiger (unless he makes a 7 on 18 from the fairway).

Considering the conditions and how little he’s played , making the cut and only being one over after two rounds there is nothing short of amazing.
