Tiger is no longer a big boy but yeah I saw he was having some major trouble with his wedges and putter on the front nine.

I was listening to Serius on the way in and he got a nice chunk shot in there from 30 yards also.

I love waking up at 6:30, and watching golf.

I think he may be resigned to his fate...that he just isn't going to be "the guy" anymore. Seems to be at peace with it. He just finished 18 with a round of 76, but they showed him walking off and having a laugh with Day, then he went over and handed his ball to a kid. Frankly, not the Tiger I want to see - I would rather see red-assed Tiger who is in contention than sweet, humble Tiger the has-been, but maybe it's what he needs right now... :?:

Coffee.

I will get some beers going on Saturday. My buddy Dave usually comes over early Saturday morning of the Open, and we drink beers from the host country, and watch golf. I set the DVR to start at 3:00, and we can skip commercials, interviews, replays, etc., as we catch up. This year, I am going to make Scotch eggs. You can join us, if you would like.

Course was underwater early this morning and there was a 3 hour delay. I watched again this morning shortly after play resumed. Should be windier
today and the greens won't be as fast and soft. Should be interesting. They thought the cut would be around E or possibly +1

If the wind is blowing like they say it will, we are going to see some rough scores this afternoon. I wouldn't be surprised if the cut was +2.

Yeah not sure. It looked pretty benign this morning when I watched. I know the wind is supposed to kick up. Looks like Willett is getting around pretty well.
If he can get into the clubhouse at -10 or better he is going to be sitting pretty going into the weekend.

The cut line just dropped to E. Lots of guys not even on the course yet. +2 is still a possibility.

Adam Scott with a nice round. I figured I'd pick him in a major in the last year he could use the long putter. He may not be heard from again for a while.

I want to smash a bottle over Paul Azinger's head. He has spent the last few hours whining about how unfair it is that some players had to try to play in the wind, before play was halted.

Quote:
Dustin Johnson had to take eight shots in this wind, while some players haven't had to take any.

It's all the luck of the draw. Was Azinger shedding tears for the golfers who had to go out in the afternoon on Thursday, while Dustin Johnson, and others had prime conditions in the morning? What a fuckstick this guy is.

I don't think I have ever seen scoring like this at the open. It will be interesting when the weather rolls in. Damn, I wish I had tomorrow off.

I am watching on the DVR, about three hours behind live. This is Iver Robson's final Open as the starter. Why is ESPN not giving us more Ivor Robson? He means more to this Championship than ESPN ever will.
