Long shot here but looking for possible reviews or experience with a couple items. Considering setting up a very basic golf range in my garage this winter. I have a net and mat. Looking at a little Rapsodo unit for swing and ball speed as well as carry distance. I need to make some measurements today and would likely only use irons as I may have a clearance issue. Anyone have or maybe used this unit?
https://rapsodo.com/products/mobile-lau ... ant=singleYou are too good of a golfer to enjoy this one. It's only going to be 95% accurate. I've got the Garmin R10 in a very cheap garage setup where I have to move the car and pull down a net I have against the wall. I really like it but I'm still at the "If the ball went straight I did a good job" phase so just the process of making a good swing and repeating it over and over helps me improve. Spin numbers are normally pretty useless with the sub $1,000 range.
Even with that, I think about upgrading it about once a month though I don't use it in the summer since I can just go play on actual grass.
Also, be sure to pay attention to how much space you actually need. If it's a radar, you need 15-25 feet from radar to the net. Camera based systems don't really matter that much as long as you can fit the net in.

Other thing I would need would be a portable heater. I’m not looking to get the garage to 70 degrees but if I could get it to 55 or 60 I’d be thrilled. My garage is not insulated. Anyone have any experience with propane heaters that push out some good heat? I found one with 18000 BTU that was a slick design and on wheels but not sure how well it would work.
My garage is normally around 10 degrees warmer than the outside temp. I've discovered that I can normally stay warm enough with a fairly low key electric heater. I think it's like 1500W. If you get too cold, you just stand next to it for a minute. However, make sure you can have the garage closed with any heater you get. That's far more important than how much heat it puts out. The one you posted says outdoor only. They do have propane heaters that can be used indoors.

I’d guess that my practice sessions would be maybe 30-45 minutes max. Thought it would be a reasonable way to work on yardages especially with scoring clubs. Just not sure if I’ll get the atmosphere I’d like with the bare minimum tools. Thanks in advance for any insight.
If you want that you need a camera based solution. This one is more expensive but if you truly want to improve your game it's the bare minimum to trust the results. There are downsides to it especially since you have to pay double for club data and there can be a yearly fee to connect to the simulator software stuff.
https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/bushnell-launch-pro-ball-enabled-23busulnchprbllnbtch/23busulnchprbllnbtch?sku=25312959 It's the same unit as the GC Quad I believe which is a pro level simulator. If you are considering this option I can go further on it before you spend the money on it to give you the real cost based on what you want to do with it.
There is a new thing out called Square Golf.
https://squaregolf.co.uk/ The price is amazing. It's camera based which is better than radar. I haven't used it and the accuracy is considered good but not great but that's compared to the $5k to $20k options. Can't use it outdoors though.
