Yeah, I may have gotten slightly over my skis, but still…double-digit under par leader well into the third round? Eh, even so, lots of big names on the first page, and setting up to be a great finish tomorrow (with still quite a few holes to go today).

So only 29 out of 156 players broke parvthru 36 holes, how many end up under Par after Sunday. My guess is 15 or less.

At 8:34 Saturday evening we are down to 20.

Don’t give an inch on this one. Your original take was correct.

I guess the course was too easy, so they tried tricking it up by making the leaders play the last few holes with flashlights to see.

They teed off and hour or so late

Rickie blowing the solo lead on the 54th.

I may invest a little on scheffler tomorrow. Not sure I have a ton of faith in the top of the leaderboard on a Sunday.

Lot of dissent coming about regarding the course and crwods. Can't say I disagree.

So it sounds like people want it on tge same 8 tp 10 courses all of the time, I am not a fan of that.

A new place every 5 years sounds good to me. I still like some of these classic tracks. Pinehurst next year

I read they are kind of doing that for the foreseeable future. I think Pinehurst has 5, Pebble Beach 4, then Okamont, Marion and a couple other classics with 2 or 3 scheduled.

Is there a reason the back 9 have played so much tougher than the front?

Because they are tougher holes than the front 9?

There was some stat earlier that the field was playing the front at a cumulative +90ish and the back at +700.

Seems like it’s two different courses.

That isnt abnormal. Its a big spread but often times wind can make the front/back play much different.

I always watch to see how these guys interact with their caddie. Clarks caddie is on top of him at pretty much every moment. You never usually see Rorys.

Hadn’t noticed but now I can’t unsee it. Seems like Clark has a long conversation with him on every shot.

This was just seen clearly on Clarks shot on 8. So close to a great place and then in an awful place.

His par on 11 essentially slammed the door on Rickie

Yeah he has had a rough go. I think I heard earlier they said he would be tied for the lead coming into today with the exception of 1 hole that has killed him.

The LA skyline is the most disappointing of any major US city.

They need to stop acting like it is scenic.

If Rory finishes bogey-free, I win $1,000.

"Rory with his 12th consecutive par in a row."

As opposed to consecutive pars not in a row?

He's playing well, but that last tee shot made me sweat. At least it's a par 5.

Clark is skating on thin ice. He's going to Van de Velde it.
