Scheffler coasting right now. Hoping it gets interesting on the back. Clark is the only one with a real chance right now.

Great week and a great course, but a boring Sunday. Scheffler is just is unstoppable when he has his flat stick working. Closest we have seen to prime Tiger.

Scottie has been Tigeresque today, if this new putter is gonna work, it will be awesome to watch him.

Unreal. Conditions were not easy today.

Ted Scott gets some credit too. They seem tobe a great team.

Players Championship this weekend. You have to figure that Scheffler is the overwhelming favorite this week. I'd like to see Rory play well enough to contend. Just hoping for an exciting tournament on Sunday.

I am watching "Live From" and I get 30 minutes on the business model of golf, LIV, SSG, etc. I'm so tired of that shit. Just let the best in the world play against each other and figure the rest out. Give the fans what they want, damnit!

McIlroy out of the gates strong along with Schauffele. They said the course had taken on 6 or 7 inches of rain from earlier in the week and that there could be some low scoring to start and then get tougher as it dries out.

This is his last year he said. Furyk has been out injured but will be coming back and he will finish up with him. C.T.Pan is going to miss him as he has been playing very well. Finished 3rd a few weeks back.

Nice start to the Players and a solid top part of the leaderboard. Still think today is a day where guys can go low and get into contention. I'd love to see Homa and Finau get up closer to the top today.

McIlroy going the wrong direction but a number of guys making a move up the board. Wyndham Clark is looking really solid this week, and of course Finau shoots even and Homa 3 over. They are pretty much out of the running.

Pan is having another damn good tournament. Someone is going to get a hot bag.

Sheffler is the closest thing we have seen to Tiger since, well, Tiger.

Probably won't tune it for much golf this weekend but if the leaderboard becomes interesting I could see watching a little bit. I noticed that Kisner appears to be out of his element now that he has been working on TV. I think he does a nice job with that but no one really wants to tee it up on a Thursday and card a smooth 80. Looks like a quadruple and a double bogey were a big part of it.

It is strange to see guys just lose their game. I understand as I look at mine but to go from pro player to cut border is rough other than age/injury.

Yeah, teeing it up on these courses with their conditions would be tough for anyone. The line between a 70 and 75 is razor thin believe it or not. You miss a couple of short putts and have one bad hole and suddenly you are staring at 75 rather than being under par and playing the weekend. Pretty sure Kisner just isn't putting in the same amount of time working on his game as he was doing before the tv gig.
