ANy car repair guys?
Its a 2008 ford edge FWD with about 120K miles.
The last 100 miles or so its developed a squak/squeel on the front driver side wheel. Its somewhat intermittent in that it will go away for a day at a time but always comes back soon enough.
Speeds up/down as the cars goes faster/slower. Once the car hits about 10-15 miles an hour it can't be heard any more. Sound is more likely to come when drifting/turning right but not always. Once it starts up, can be heard when going straight/left. But seems worse going right.
I've taken the wheel off and checks break pads, they still look fresh with no strange wear pattern. I happened the replace the lugnuts and the sound disappeared for about 7-10 days, but has since come back to normal.
Here is an audio clip of me pulling in the drive way. At the end, I'm braking and rolling to a stop. I'm thinking its something with the CV/half shaft, any thoughts?
https://clyp.it/sdrdaiypI attempted to go tankless, but the car wouldn't start. I'll see myself out.
