Well, it is here. Feel free to post thoughts, predictions, whatever revolving around one of the most prestigious titles in golf. Weather right now
looking pretty nice through the week but the weekend could turn cold and gloomy.

Just dropped off my pool. I took Justin Thomas. Brian Harmon is my long shot pick. It’s going to be another great tournament.

One of the most? The Masters is THE most prestigious award in golf, and perhaps all of sports.

Justin Rose
Rickie Fowler
Bubba Watson
Fred Couples

The cheese and pimento sandwiches for $1.50 sound like a great deal until you realize you spent $10k on a four-day pass (that's the price on the secondary market).

I think a lot of people likely agree with you, but there are MANY out there that make a case for the U.S. or British Open titles
as being more prestigious.

Gonna enter a Masters pool for fun. Need some help:

1. What style succeeds at the Masters?
2. I need to pick a squad of 6 under an XYZ budget. Who are possible deep sleepers to exceed expectations?

One of the few multi day sporting events I’d gladly watch start to finish.

I'm not much for studio shows, but I love watching "Live From" this week.

Next to the 80 USA hockey team and #2016, Jack winning the 86 Masters at 46 is my favorite sports moment ever .

Bubba looks solid lately. I think this might be his tournament again.

Can someone send me a PM if Tiger is in the top 5 so I can know to actually watch?

Every year, The Masters is the by far, the smallest, and weakest field for any major. There are 87 players in the field, and at least half have no chance to win. Eliminate the old timers, who are here only because they are former champions. Langer and Couples have always played well here, but they can't bang it with these big hitters for four days. They just can't. Langer isn't playing well on the Champions Tour this year, and Freddie's back can start barking at any time. You can also eliminate amateurs, and anybody who is making their Masters debut. Experience matters on this course as much, or more than any other.

Sleepers for Kirkwood's format:

Charley Hoffman
Patrick Cantlay
Brendan Steele
Daniel Berger
Kiradech Aphibarnrat
Tony Finau
Adam Hadwin
Lee Westwood (despite the issues with his short game and putting, he plays well here)

My pick to win: Justin Thomas

Along those same lines this is the major that allows for guys to win that normally are never in the mix ( Immelman, Weir, Mize, Willett, etc... )

The roster I submitted:

Justin Thomas
Justin Rose
Tommy Fleetwood
Patrick Cantlay
Charley Hoffman
Bryson DeChambeau

Tried fitting in my guy Kiradech Aphibarnrat but his price was too fat.

I hope no one tells Thomas’ ball to get into Rae’s Creek.

Uses a center-shaft putter. You see more and more on tour. Many appear to be following my lead.

Tee times for the first two rounds.

Tiger is grouped with Marc Leishman and Tommy Fleetwood at 9:42 CDT on Thursday. All three are averaging 300+ off of the tees this year.

Other notable groups:
Bubba, Stenson, and Day
Mickelson, Kuchar, and Fowler
Scott, McIlroy, and Rahm
Spieth, Noren, and Oosthuizen
Rose, DJ, and Cabrera-Bello
