I grew up watching men's and women's tennis.

Always want to play on clay.

Solid play, solid commentary going on right now in the men's final.

I stayed at the Breakers down in Palm Beach, FL for a corporate conference. They had clay courts. One of my coworkers played on them. I played quite a bit of tennis in my day, but I never wanted to play on alternate surfaces.

Clay seems more about body control than hitting the ball. I always hated playing basketball on a slippery, dusty court. I suspect playing tennis on clay would have them same feeling.

Clay is a predictable surface. I don't think the slippery surface of a basketball court is an apt comparison, especially considering the team vs. individual dynamics of each sport. I played on my share of slippery basketball courts. I always liked the international aspect of tennis Grand Slams and the different surfaces were a part of it.

I enjoyed the CART open-wheel racing series because they raced on road courses, streets, large ovals and short ovals and each required a different approach and mindset.

Such a pleasure watching these 2 guys battle. How lucky are we to see the 3 greatest of all time battling each other?!?!?

I used to not care for Djokovic. But man he has grown on me, and he is so good.

Indeed. There were incredible rallies throughout.

Some of the returns are mind-blowing when they not only make the return, but turn it into a kill shot.

McEnroe and Carillo do a great job.

I have always had the utmost respect for my friend Rafa as a person and as a champion. As my greatest rival over many years, I believe we have pushed each other to become better players. Therefore, it is a true honor for me to congratulate him on his 20th Grand Slam victory. It is especially amazing that he has now won Roland Garros an incredible 13 times, which is one of the greatest achievements in sport. I also congratulate his team, because nobody can do this alone. I hope 20 is just another step on the continuing journey for both of us. Well done, Rafa. You deserve it. -Roger Federer

No doubt they have all pushed each other to greater heights than they could have reached on their own.

Clay court tennis is a beautiful thing to watch. Along with Wimbledon, the French is such a cool change of pace frim the paved surfaces.

Nadal's numbers on clay are just insane, and will never be matched again.

Yeah, one guy winning the same major 13 times is crazy.

I love watching the majors but all of the grunting drives me nuts.
