So Sam Smith spends column after column trying to trade anybody on the Bulls for everybody from Kevin Garnett to Shareef Abdur-Rahim to the ballboy for the Rockford Lightning.

Then, when an actual trade comes up for Pau Gasol, the Bulls don't need him.

IF Shareef Abdur Rahim is motivated, he can be a good add for the Bulls. He can play 3/4 and some 5 and has shown in the past that he can be a big scorer and rebounder. Even in reduced minutes this year, he's getting 10+ pts a game. You could probably get him 'cheap' as well.
