I think that was the intended Saturday show initially. Drinky said his 20 "Our Fathers" and Mitch let him back on the air.

But like somone pointed out in another thread, Larry is a screaming moron. I leave the Score on and Larry wakes me up this morning yelling and making no sense. He hates Skiles but can never say why. He says no big free agents will ever play for Skiles. Drinky says "what about Ben Wallace?"

It was kind of nice to hear Drinky call Larry on his BS. When Larry is solo nobody can do that. Zac ganged up too. But Zac is a condesending douch as well.

I'm kind of surprised Drinky is the driver of the show. He's doing Ok with it today but you would think it would be Zac or Larry to drive it.

Drinky and Paruch would be such a good pairing.

Glad to hear Matty back on the air.

Not paying attention to 670 or 1000 like I used to.

Has Matt been off air lately? Why?

Caught your post. I haven't followed along with 670 or 1000 much as of late. Was Drinky off the air for a while? Did he do something to piss Mitch off?

I think Larry has filled in for TB too many times...seems to be a carbon copy of Bernstein, sans the giant head.

Yeah, larry will trash him, ecspecially if the Bulls are bounced in the first round this year, but Bernsie asked him once and I've Larry say it many times, "I just dont like him", what kind of argument is that, sounds like a high schooler.

And Zach said ben Gordon was Top 5 finisher in the NBA earlier this week, caller after caller bashed Zach for it, it was pretty funny. Zach's only response was. "so you're done with him, he's no good".

I think Bernsie and Hanley are the only 2 at the Score with any hoops credibility.

Whenever these guys are proven wrong they don't know how to respond so they try to divert you or change their initial point.

Zac just seems like a dick. He's always got that snide remark and he just seems like an angry guy. He always seems disgusted and bothered that he has to explain himself to callers. Like it's beneath him or a waste of his time.

agreed. the fact that the above criticism of ZZ (and also of larry) has been expressed countless times on this board since i've been reading, and that they still have their jobs, tells me that management likely isn't reading, or just doesn't care. i also realize that we CSFMB posters aren't the only score listeners in chicago, but it seems like larry/zack get a lot of the more random dial-turners calling in to their evening appearances, based on the dumb arguments they tend to make against larry/zz's initial dumb points.

Larry is dumb. I think he gets started in those rants. Talking loud and what not. He gets on a role but doesn't know where he's going. So he starts shouting stupid things. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that even he doesn't beleive his bull shit when he's done talking. But stands by it which makes him look worse.

I know what Drinky thinking "If you don't like it don't listen." All radio guys love saying that.

But I'll listen to this Saturday show guys. You sound good sitting next to those two guys Drinky. I've got nothing better to do on Saturday mornings. I'll listen to Larry sound stupid and Zac be a snide rude jerk. It's entertaining. Once a week is fun bad. But don't give Larry or Zack 5 day a week shows.

I think they are on because no one wants to be there on a Sat. morning at 6 am, and not that many are listening then either. No harm at that time, just warm bodies filling space.

I think The Score would be better served with a sports/money/home improvement show on Saturday mornings...seems to be working out well for WMVP....

That attitude of his is evident when he's on CLTV Sports Page. When he's on TV, you can see it in his eyes and by his facial expressions.

he will be. three years ago when ben came into the league, he could barely hold onto the ball, and he couldn't make a pass if he was playing 5 on 1 (he also had no defense at all). the next year he improved his hands a bit, but mostly his somewhat present defense is what was noticeable. he kept hitting big shots so his consistent mistakes were somewhat tolerable. the start of this year he was slow for about a month, then REALLY took off. everything finally came together, and he is even showing signs that he can handle both point positions with ease. his defense is now average to good, his ball handling is very good, his passes make sense more often then not now. by far the teams best free throw shooter, noch being the only other one close.

the fact is gordon has improved his game at a torrent pace the last three years, and really only one part of his game is suffering, the buzzer-beaters (which he was good at in his rookie year). he's only been in the league 3 years, no doubt in my mind he will figure out how to hit the game winners again. i think zaidmen should have said "gordon is usually a good finisher, but had a bad year at that part of his game"

That's Zaidman? I always pictured him as a wiry little fellow.

Even for simple questions or an easy going coverstaion Zac always seems pissed. . He always acts like you should know things without him having to explain him self.

Even if you asked him "Hey Zac, how's the weather?"

Zac - (rolling his eyes in a angry condesending voice) It's party cloudy today. There is a chance for showers later. How could you not know this?

This is why I don't understand how people can clamor for Murph's firing the way they do. There needs to be a respite from the Dorks On Sports movement that's taking the format by storm.
