Why would you promote this?

Proper shortening of "you're" on twitter is "u r" not "your." Not only is it shorter than your shortening, it also shows clear intent of the the purpose in choosing an alternative spelling, instead of leaving open an ambiguous possibility of an inferior grammarian operating the keyboard.
