Show is massively underrated here. My favorite thing about Saturday mornings. I surely cannot be the only one.

so like, you have such a pure love for the international/dimensional epitome-of-all-things-sports-radio that is rosenbloom & grote (are we still supposed to deal with that, or did that policy leave with baum?) that you felt oddly compelled to join up this board and hope to find new friends just like you in their exhibitionist-style love for rosenbloom & grote?

or am i talking to rosenbloom, grote or a producer? i think that's more likely here. HIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always found Rosenbloom to be entertaining, provided he isn't paired with an idiot ex backup quarterback.

great show...i try to listen every saturday morning unless i am hungover and sleep in...show was always good but seems better now that rosenbloom has stopped taking repeated shots at groede and seems to genuinely like each other.

i can actually relate to rosenbloom a whole lot. like me, he's great in small doses (like 4hrs/week on sat morn) but if he was on 4hrs/day you'd eventually be like "man fuck you sinibloom tl;dr"

Good listen. They don't take themselves very seriously. Nice way to spend the Saturday workday.

I'm in. Rosenbloom and Grote (or Wake and Bake,) flipping over to Car Talk during commercials is appointment Saturday radio. I agree with Sini, though. 4 hours a week plus occasional fill-in is the perfect dosage.

That whole "wake and bake" thing is really fucking stupid.

Rosenbloom's voice is annoying. He sucked on ESPN and he still sucks.

Grote, on the other hand, is really funny. His impressions, especially Les and Butt-head are awesome but I don't/can't listen because of his partner.

Rosenbloom is the smarmiest human being in the history of Earth.

that said enjoy this bootleg of the new squarepusher from last thursday. aside from the fact i have an oreo sandwich of brilliant artist chick sex lined up in NYC whenever i get my pudgy pasty ass out there, like, dude..... squarepusher played his new LP live @ this show i knew existed but his last few releases... meh. if i knew he was going late 90s OMFG then i'd have been sampled on this shit cuz you'd hear me shouting something brilliant during the breakdown http://sinicalypse.kaen.org/joe/Squarep ... 20(pt.%201).mp3

incidentally, i would like to point out that i hold out high hopes that a future incarnation of me used my current lack of appearance @ this show as an opportunity to travel back in time and see a real fucking legendary electronic music show because like, goddamn, i'm going to this show one way or another. if i have to fucking invent time travel, so be it, i'll be there in time last thursday night.

It's ok.

Rosenbloom is a smarmy clown but can be decent/good in short bursts. The smarm is too over the top sometimes and he just comes off as a huge unlikable douchebag as well.

I love it when Grote gets on his nerves by not agreeing with him on something....he def. gets frustrated.

Newpaper hats will be mailed out after a $5 donation is made to my paypal. :D

I'm glad there are others that are into this show as well. I just found it weird that they didn't have their own thread. I agree with what others have said though, they might get a bit grating if they were on 5 days a week.

It's a fun show. I like it. It took me a while to dig Grote but this is a fun, solid show to listen to.

I liked Rosenbloom MUCH better when he played straight-man/Baum-wrangler back in the day. Now THAT was a fun Saturday morning show :P
