In what universe does Larry live in that he thinks people don't want to hear sports talk when they tune into a sports talk station? Larry's "peoples hour" segments show that he is truly delusional - he sees himself as too cool for the Score. He sees the whole sports thing as a stepping stone for cultural domination. Deep in his heart, he thinks that he is the next Oprah or Ryan Seacrest.

He's not even the next Brian Dunkleman!

The Score has always encouraged these "landmark" segments. They are some of the more popular pieces of Score programming

Because if they work they can be sponsored.

Pretty sure not one of Larrys segments are sponsored.

Hater Wed
Ask Herb
The Peoples Hour (AKA I have nothing to talk about, so call me)

Was Unaware of the Hip Hop version, but I feel pretty good in saying it sucks.

They're not necessarily sponsored, BigFan, but they are still fixtures on the Holmes nighttime SCORE. It was a lot worse about a year or two ago when we got the idiotic, pointless Ryan Baker segment, complete with the CBS2 sports anchor coughing in a remix open.

If a message board could have drops, this would be a drop.

SHARK, how was the song unprofessional? It was produced well and the song they used is called "Let me clear my throat" and its a classic. That's why they used Ryan Baker coughing and saying let me clear my throat

Does that change your opinion?

It's the coughing itself I didn't want to hear.
