What is the radius of their signal? In what areas does the signal fade?

It sucks.

I was at a client near Schaumburg and it was static-y at 4pm.

it's weird. I get it clear as a bell at times out here in the west sticks.

Here's what the FCC gives as their signal, though obviously it's not the usual three-tiered contour map we're used to. Stick is on the Hancock, even though the station is licensed to Rochelle.

Radio-locator fails us on this one since, as we know, it isn't a radio station.

Yeah, I think it comes and goes. Not sure why.

Sometimes clear as hell. Sometimes stat-icky for me.

I know they have to wait 18 months until they can buy a better frequency, so there is nothing they can do.

They don't have to wait 18 months, they have to find one before 18 months. What they have to do is spin off the broadcasting operations from print so that they can own an FM station. Alternatively, they could find a station to lease on the actual FM dial, but no one's selling yet.

Looks like I'm going to be screwed when I take the El Presidente out past Navy Pier and my dignitaries want to hear Harry's Almanac.
