I dont listen to him since I can't access the site from work, but is Murph giving any credit to the WhiteSox or that we finally have a World Series in chicago?

Or is he still whining about the cubs?

I switched to NPR. Yes, I would rather listen to an interview about the US's role in the upcoming Azerbaijan elections than to hear Murph.

He talks about the Sox grudgingly at best. And then, when even the smallest sliver of opportunity comes along, he'll shoe-horn in the most awkward and irrelevant thoughts on how things somehow relate to the Cubs.

Prepare for today's Murph show, the day after the Sox win it all.

Hello everybody, welcome to the Murph show. I got a great night sleep, but I woke up this morning and saw the highlights of the final play and all the celebrating. Watching this reminds me the story of what my ol' great great grandpappy use to tell me the last time the Cubs won the World Series. I was 8 years old and
.......

Two hours later

...and he just said it was the best of times, and that is what White Sox fans are experiencing now. That is today's show, Murph-a-poo-looza! Seeya later everybody!

Well, he IS a Cubs fan afterall. I find it refreshing that he's staying true to his roots and not jumping on the bandwagon like all the phonies

You probably find it refreshing because Mitch told you to say that. Your comments are really stupid.

Marc Silverman is a Cubs fan. He however has NOT jumped on the bandwagon, but at the very least, has done a good job of allowing his personal views to be put on the backburner, and discuss the White Sox with Carm. That is how its suppose to be done. Murph just doesn't have a clue.

Indeed he is! He ripped on Selig today because the Brewers have congratulation message on the sign outside the stadium. He still believes Selig owns the Brewers! Never one to let the facts get in the way of a good rant that Murph! I can only imagine what the other hour and 58 minutes of his show was like...................... :x
