I NEVER listen to the Score. I listen to Cubs radio broadcasts a couple of times a week. No promos that I've ever heard during those broadcasts have made me want to give any WSCR program another attempt.
Putrid Kaplan is still better than any Score show.
And Wanderer and yourself are a prime example of why it was a bad deal. This year, next year and on and on. Most Cubs listeners turn off the Score when the game is over. So they paid $10M for folks who are not and will not stay around to sample their product.
Combine this with radio listeners and revenues struggling to stay static and it quickly becomes clear why Rod got axed.
