Sarah could have done a better job following up on some stuff, like how Jason dropped out of school because his broadcasting instructor was going to instruct them in broadcasting, or, you know, how his year of hosting afternoons in Chicago went and how it went wrong. Instead, she just goes "well, you wound up in Chicago again and then you were out to make room for Someone Who Has Been There Before And Struggled With Personal Issues." First of all, hey, haven't we all, second, Dan McNeil has a name and you can call him by his name without getting sued, third, uh, didn't Jason have to get re-hired at the Score? and wasn't that kind of a tale of its own? Didn't Jason win ratings books in middays? What was it like taking over for Terry Boers? What were the challenges you faced in afternoons? That's a lot to skip. But I think that sounds like I expected this to be something it wasn't supposed to be. It's two friends who are in the club together, looking out for each other and giving each other exposure. It wasn't going to be remotely adversarial or probing.

If you're wondering what Jason says about Dan Bernstein, the answer is nothing -- at least not by name. There's a part where HR Superstar Sarah Spain talks about how good she is at finding powerful/important/on-the-right-side-of-history men to be her allies wherever she works so that if things ever get dicey, she's always safe. Jason said that he never thought he would be the one out in a reshuffle, the heavy implication being that he had found his allies who would keep him safe, but learned that people can talk a lot, but when it's time to stand for something, you find out who's really on your side. Uh oh.

#StickToRelevantTopics, eh?

My question to Sarah and Goff: Is it possible that a women or a black person could be bad at sports talk radio? Is it remotely possible?

Wow. THERE IT IS. Goff hating on Bernstein and Mitch.

Does he not realize that those two guys want to keep their jobs? And that they have a boss. The boss that just happened to fire Goff. Are they really gonna die on a hill fighting for Jason Goff? What did he expect them to do? "If Jason goes, so do I". Did he really expect something like that?

C'mon, Jason. You gotta figure out how the world works.
