....but I've gotta give credit where credit is due, and Jesse did a very good job with the Blackhawks postgame show last night. As brutal as he can be on pretty much everything else, he knows his pucks, and because of that, he's actually able to articulate himself so much better (though the lack of malaprops did make me mildly sad). He asked some very tough questions of Matt Barnaby after the 10th loss in a row, and was able to engage in actual discussions with the callers. Kudos, Jesse.

The only problem is that you and the couple of callers were the only ones listening.

I'm proud to admit I'm a die-hard hockey dope.

Me too. Unfortunately the Blackhawks suck loudly again this year. And now that Ruutu is hurt AGAIN.....Is he hockey's version of Rex Grossman?

If nothing else, it's apparant Jesse loves his hockey which seems to help his delivery.

As for Ruutu, I was thinking he's the "Hawks version of Nomar.......... :(

Wine, women and song are antidotes that might work against that disease.

I have to extemely disageree with you,, he is out and out brutal on the pre / post game.

If you know and follow hockey you know that Jessee is just as incompetent at covering hockey as he is at everything else. Non hockey fans assume he knows it because he was assigned to the pre/post game.

He doesnt. Hes a joke. His views are just as much in outer space on hockey as it is on every other sport. When we leave a game and turn on the radio we laugh at almost everything he has. Were like was he watching the same game as or is he that big of an idiot?

The Score should just get an ex player to do the pre and post game because noone at the station knows hockey.

Zawaski and Moose Vasko (imagine that) know their pucks.

Then give them the job, Jessee is as bad as they come. How can a guy with no personality get an on air gig on a talk show is beyond me. He is such a dork he makes Tom Shaer seem hip.

THey should just get an ex player actually. Some ex Hawk like Dubinsky or OCallahan that live in the area.

O'Callahan is actually a successful business man, I doubt he'd want to take a paycut, and to work the terrible hours.
