I don't particularly like George. I don't particularly like Jesse (I don't particularly dislike them either.) But they have great chemistry together, know their stuff, and talk baseball extremely well. I was entertained the entire drive to work today, and have been the last few Sundays. Well done boys!

I like the show as well...and have for a few years now. I am usually in the kitchen with the radio on while making the traditional bacon & eggs Sunday breakfast.. and listening to good-solid Chicago baseball talk.

Thats exactly why it works...its perfect to listen to on a Sunday morning cooking breakfast or rounding up the laundry or other errands before the Cubs or Sox play.

"Hit & Run" is an appropriately named baseball talk show. George Ofman & Jesse Rogers do a terrific job talking about the game everybody enjoys, no matter if you are a White Sox or a Cubs' fan. George & Jesse cover a lot of ground, and they are definitely worth the time every Sunday before the Sox pregame show...

I agree with you. It is enjoyable to listen to even if you disagree with them.

Jesse's the guy Monday who said that Hamilton's noticeable numbers are only in RBIs. He's hitting better than Quentin (he's actually over .300) and he almost has 30 homers.
Jesse seems like a really nice guy, but his baseball analysis is mediocre at best. George carries him on "Hit and Run". Jesse supplies the comedic relief -- and it's usually unintentional.

I think George sounds more stupid on that show than Jesse. I think Jesse knows baseball really well.

I agree. George's stupidity/word ratio is much higher than Jesse's. I also like the fact that Jesse will admit when he may be wrong about something, unlike George.

In general, I like the show, even with George on it. But who's idea was it to interview Ozzie Guillen's wife??? God that was brutal.
