I think it is an enemy of the board. Maybe a Score staffer.

Doubt it. More likely it's the same people you can thank for all of the "I'm Horny" or "Wanna Hook Up?" e-mails in your spam folder.

That's a fun theory but not really plausible. The downside of someone attached to the score doing it is a lot greater than the temporary inconvenience caused.

I've spoken with representatives of all the businesses in the functioning URLs & there is only one common thread connecting them. They all offer affiliate/referral programs. It's most likely some overenthusiastic member trying to either drum up business or drive traffic to the websites.

I checked the membership list back to just before the latest rounds of spam started and there are a number of suspicious signups. I'd guess one of them is responsible.

I think it's Pappy. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he couldn't operate a computer...

I was joking, and that line was stolen from The Usual Suspects…

I know the line. Great movie. It put Kevin Spacey and Benicio Del Toro on the Map and resurrected Gabriel Byrne's career.

This is a serious problem, though.

The Ogulnick's have the spent the last of their family fortune($75) to try and shut down this board.

It doesn't have to be a registered member, bots search for this sort of stuff and hit jackpot on a board that doesn't require registration. Just like if you post your email address one will eventually pick it up and you'll have more spam

That's why I wouldn't post my e-mail address on a message board.

That's why I also use an IP scrambler which doesn't show ANY of my true information - shows a false IP address and masks or feigns all other info.

Hey, it wasn't me, even though I just registered. But if it was me, I would post to a location where I knew there would be hundreds of suckers who regularly eat dog-turds that are marketed as delicious Baby Ruth bars. (I'm looking at you, Bears and Cub fans)
I think it was someone from the Score as well. They catch the most heat on this board so that creates the motive. I'm still thinking it might have been someone in their marketing department. Either way I'm just happy the board is back to normal.
Please Nas, it just can't be true - The theme song at WSCR is: "If I Only Has A Brain." The only guys who could do it would be Juan or Steve the computer guys, and they wouldn't want to jeopardize their jobs/careers/professions/the law just to spam an independent site for Mitch Rosen or Rod Zimmerman or Drew "Sybian" Hayes.
