They’ve been kvetching about people not supporting those “who hold power accountable,” or some similar masturbatory nonsense. Apparently the Athletic was going to stop Reinsdorf from sucking as an owner.

Bernstein noted that if you only consume free media, you won’t get anything good, which was a fun bit of irony.

I waited an extra 5 min listening in the driveway because I thought we’d get some waterworks.

In other news, writers at The Athletic are hoping for a way to influence the sports owners in town, like Jerry Reinsdorf, by holding them power for their accountable.

That hurts so much coming from someone like you. Trust me- I don't come here to read anything you post.

Perhaps if you could understand his posts that might change.

Yeah, that's not the problem.

100 percent agree. The Athletic has become 98 percent filler material. Just like local news, for the most part. I only re-upped last year because they offered half-off. Probably an average of one article a week draws my interest.

I think MANY would agree that he is one of, if not the best writer here.

I don't understand all of his references, but still find him entertaining

The best way to interact with them is to tell them to "learn to code"
