Really enjoy this podcast. I've had been keeping up with the cubs this past season thru these guys. Very easy to listen to and short enough to get all the important points in.

The Sam guy can get annoying at times but the other host Matt knows when to reel him in. Neither guy is a gas bag like all the other Cubs 'experts' on WSCR.

@Vitoscotti - have you been in touch with Murph? How's his retirement going? It's be nice if he did an occasional podcast as Murph's take on the Cubs is unique.

Agreed, this is the better fan podcast than CHGO. And better than whatever Audacy thinks it's doing putting Dustin Rhodes on mic in any capacity.

This is a great show. Wonder if they get an opportunity to fill in somewhere or even a larger deal somewhere else. From 700 subscribers when they took over the show in July 2022 to now 11,000.

I was thinking about that too - but sounds like they're both teachers and pretty happy with their careers.

And why would you want to go into radio when it's dying nowadays. It's not like 20/30 years ago where they could turn this into a lucrative radio gig.

Going the teaching route is a better career choice.
