I am happy for Jason. Also, congrats on the kid. Why get married again in July though when you just got married?

Right. Probably pressure from her parents for him to race down the aisle before the baby is born. But once the girl is able to do math she’ll know daddy banged mommy 8 months before their wedding. So what.

The real reason for the July wedding is the gifts from all the rich people Jason knows.

Hey Goff, did you at least have a reception. Or some sort of party after words? I get the eloping thing with her being all pregnant. But did you at least buy out a room at a restaurant for a few people? I would have done it for the gifts if I were you. You know some rich people. Could have gotten some cash. If so, what old SCORE people did you invite?

Reception is in July https://www.theknot.com/us/pia-holec-an ... f-jul-2025

He scheduled wedding and honeymoon for July so it wouldn't interfere with Bulls playoff run in June

maybe the host of "married at first sight" didn't like the appearances of a fifth year of engagement

I get the feeling that, while Terry isn't cheap, he's just a hick who doesn't really know how to spend money. 100 to him is like 1000 to everyone else. He's used to going to weddings at the Mokena VFW where you throw a few bucks into a card.

I’ll defend Parkins on that. He barely knew Spiegel at the time and it was his 3rd wedding for the love of God.

Correct. Asking for gifts ahead of the start of divorce #3 is psychopath behavior.

I agree that asking for gifts at your third wedding is a little bit much, but simply transferring over a gift card you got for a TV appearance is the bigger transgression. If you're going to attend a wedding and give a gift, asked for or not, at least put some energy into the system. He might as well have brought them his toaster.

The fact that it was a gift card from doing TV is what makes the story so funny. Parkins gives away the gift card that he got from appearing on a cable talk show, which he got in lieu of cash, which the channel probably got from the restaurant as a barter because the client didn't want to pay in cash either, making it an entire matryoshka of cheapness.

Mitch Rosen: 1k

Da Ma Na: 1k (Goff won't invite him though, cuz he thinks he's a racist :( )

Mike North: Be Be would make him a fruit basket and throw in some lottery scratch off tickets (Goff wouldn't invite him though, cuz he thinks North is a racist. But Goff is right on this one.)

Absolutely fair gift from Parkins too for a 3rd marriage without a real reception
