I'm sometimes in a vodka-induced stupor when listening to the Score, but I'm pretty sure I've been hearing a commercial (most recently on Murphapalooza) where this one middle-aged sounding woman is surprised to see her friend in open-toed shoes because her toenails used to be so ugly and full of fungus. Nice. Interesting target demographic. Actually, I've got to hand it to the Score sales staff. Their ratings may be down the toilet, but apparently they've convinced the seller of this particular foot-care product that they're very big with middle-aged women with toe fungus.

I can't wait for a round of maxi-pad commercials next. Maybe Summer's Eve can sponsor Douche of the Week? How about estrogen supplements to ease the pain of menopause?

Money is money and all the checks cash the same, but this is the poster child for misplaced advertising and misspent money.

Have you noticed how many women call into the White Sox post game show? And I seem to remember a day when all the White Sox ticket winners on B&B were women. There might be a few more women listening now.

My favorite commercial is the one for paternity testing. I guess that says something about the Score demo...
