Hmmm...no one else is reporting the suspensions. I'm watching the Final Word now, and AJ hasn't heard anything about suspensions yet. I wonder where ESPN got their info. I can't find it on MLB.com or anything either.

Considering Levine gives Selig an anal tongue bath after the commish takes a BM, maybe he had some inside info from the league office.

What was the reported disciplinary action?

I don't think MLB hands down suspensions/does paperwork on Sundays, so that may be why.

But they said (only Cubs known so far, White Sox probably tomorrow):

Barrett - 10 games

Mabry - 3 games

Also, ESPN TV said Derrek Lee for 5 games, but I guess Levine did it. This confused me at first, but may have to do with not being allowed on the field if you are on the DL (like Reggie Miller and the Detroit brawl)

Agreed. C'mon Nas, let's be realistic here. Barrett does that same thing on the street and he gets arrested for assualt, yet 10 games is too much? I'm not so sure.

Kendall got 4 games for charging the mound. 5 would have been appropriate and I would not see it get knocked down to that amount on appeal.

These suspensions still have not been posted anywhere.

the key is that is was a cheap shot....Barrett grabbed A.J., held him, then decked him. that's why the suspension is 10 games. Not because the fight was better or worse than fights in the past.

No one has the info. Its just rumor and speculation at this time. Offman said yesterday morning he talked to someone who said he would be shocked if it was less than 10. So go back to your cubicle at ESPN and jerk Spaceball off. Dont start shit just for the fun of it. Nothing is going to come out until the end of the week from the actual reports that i have read.
