So - ask yourself - what type of people want to send their kid top a place where this guy is the spokesperson? Better yet, the volunteer b ball coach is someone who never played high school ball at the varsity level? If your kid was good, does that resume give you confidence that your kids will develop?
Perhaps, Aggravated, you would want Mike to give your kid some insights in developing a long term strategic business plan?

Kids aren't idiots...they aren't babes in the woods despite all the efforts of parents of the last 30 years or so to protect and coddle them.
Don't you think it is the job of the parent to tell the kid that Mike North is a drop out and his path is not the path to choose if you want a successful career 99% of the time?
Isn't it the job of the parent to tell the kid that North had to work some awfully hard hours in a hot dog stand and got a great break to get to the level he attained in the radio business?
DON'T YOU THINK MIKE NORTH HIMSELF TELLS THESE KIDS THAT HIS WAY WAS NOT THE RIGHT WAY AND THAT HE MADE GOOD THROUGH HARD WORK AND LUCKY BREAKS????
You have to be crazy if you don't think that Mike North has a lot of life lessons to tell high school kids!!!!!!
THE KIDS WILL LISTEN TO HIM A LOT MORE CLOSELY THAN SOME NERD WITH SOME MASTERS IN SOCIOLOGY RAILING ON ABOUT THE UNFAIRNESS OF THE WORLD.
