Brian "the Whipping Boy" sounded good... he was on with Zach all afternoon, so that probably turned many people off. I'll have to listen to more of Brian when he is on in the future... for some reason, I think him and Abbatocola would make a good team.

I didn't realize that Brian had hosted with Mariotti over on ESPN. Actually, I didn't even realize that he had much sports knowledge. I just remember him from his Q101 days.

I think hes got some talent. I didnt think he would be able to do much relative to sports, but did seem to have some good knowledge in a few different areas. If he could only be paired with someone else, I think he could have the chance to be pretty good. How about a LH and Whipping Boy experiment?

I heard about 20 minutes of it today and thought he did a good job. Not prime time by any means but a quite needed addition to an already thin bench.

Yeah, I thought he was pretty good with Mariotti, and he's already the best update guy they've got.

Silvy was with Mariotti near the end, but when the show started it was a rotation of guys.

Shall we amalgamate his previous nickname with his current and refer to him as "King Whip" henceforth?

Whip was under the ABC umbrella working for 94.7 the Zone and he had a show or two with Jay Mariotti.

He's a very knowledgeable baseball fan. I believe he lives near Wrigley, but is a die hard White Sox fan.

I gotta say that I was suprised to hear his voice on the Score. He did sound good yesterday. Maybe he's finally found his niche.

Yeah, Harry even sat in with him a time or two.

Not disagreeing with you Hawkeye, but my rebuttal is, what exactly is primetime radio now? Besides MJH (with Danny Mac, of course), B&B (to some), and maybe Mulligan and Hanley, what exactly on either Chicago sports station is primetime? Screw Murph, Patrick, Sallisbury and Rosenbloom.... some of these B team guys, I'd rather listen to them over the so called "primetime" people.
