A good listen. LH has the right amount of energy and casual attitude for a good evening listen. Thumbs up.

Caught about 30 minutes of it tonight and I really enjoyed it. He does a good job filling the air and not repeating himself... which is something I feel a lot of solo sports guys have trouble with. Well done LH.

Also glad to hear he plans on getting 99 on a lot during the football season.

I have listened a little and enjoyed it. Definitely way better than the crap he was doing during the midday.

LoHo seems a lot more comfortable on his own than having the "Stuttering" John Melendez-sounding Dan Hampton being unable to get out a sentence without bumbling during middays. I wonder what he's really feeling about his former producer Matt Weber and the abrupt end of ChicagoSportsWebio.com in the wake of the ongoing scandal involving David Hernandez...

Whether you like him or not, Holmes is in an awesome position still compared to those at Webio.

Mitch seems to like him, so I would guess his job is secured, whether he hosts evenings or does reporting during Bears season.

Holmes is very lucky he did middays this past year. If he was doing nights still, he probably would had jumped to Webio and would not be screwed.

It sucks for him that he got demoted for middays, but considering the alternative, he's not in a bad spot at all.

LoHo thinks there will be a podcast, but I'm not so sure 670thescore.com podcasts local sports talk programming at night or on the weekends for reasons I can't quite explain.

Noir is black; nuit is night.

As much as I disliked H&H and generally dislike much of Holmes' work on the Score, his show this evening was the easiest listen since the day began. Great stuff. Don't know how often I'll get a chance to tune in but I'll be glad to in the future.

Get used to hearing LoHo's "Me Show", fans. Tonight, Laurence is tentatively scheduled to host a special late night edition of "The Me Show" live from 42 N. Latitude, 4500 N. Lincoln, come 11p this eve after the Ranger's White Sox Radio Network postgame. LoHo is also supposed to follow the Sox postgame Wednesday & Thursday 6-10p after the last 2 games of the Sox/Cubs' North side series.

Started out well.

Needs to stop telling us about being excited about whatever. Just give us the matter, and stop acting like a sorority girl with your "oh I'm so excited" garbage.

Repeats the rundown way too many times. If I recall from Cy's post this is something that Mitch told Cy to do when he listened to his demo tape. Maybe this is why Mitch favors Larry over others.

All bets are of was good.

They should podcast it. I wanted to hear that but had other things to do.

Yeah, and Webio seems to be in trouble.

It sounds like he has taken some advice from the board to heart. Wasn't engaging in as much condescension or browbeating as usual. Very enjoyable. I can't believe I said that!

Tall Midget, LoHo sounds much better on his own without that "Stuttering" Dan Hampton bringing him down.

I don't know what it was about getting a daytime slot that made him like that. I don't remember him brow-beating, etc., when he did nights and fill-ins before the 10-12 show.

I might have been overly harsh with Laurence last year on his midday show. It sucked, no question, but it probably wasn't his fault and his struggles were probably those of someone trying to make a sinking ship sail. Desperate people can make poor decisions.

I've listened a couple different nights this week and will continue to do so.

I would apologize for some of my criticism of him last year but I don't think we are allowed to do that here so I'll just say you continue to suck, LH, but I'll be listening.
