I know I'm gonna open up the lines for Murph haters here, but I'm feeling a little nostalgic (for 2005). Is there any chance Murph will be back on at night (rumors, etc.)? Didn't his evening show get great ratings for sports talk? I never heard/figured out why he was moved to noon. Anybody else wanna see him back? The fill-ins in that slot have been mediocre at best.

For all of you who pine fore anybody to be back at nights I will remind you like I have in the past. THE WHITE SOX PLAY MAJORITY OF WEEKDAY NIGHT GAMES FROM APRIL TO OCTOBER. It's hard for some of you to comprehend this. If you are fans of Murph this will be a major factor because baseball is his specialty. Murph is not so good in the baseball off season.

Very good point. But didn't MJH thrive even in the midst of Bulls/Sox? Maybe it was up to Murph, Cubs fan that he is (or megalomaniac). I think WSCR should put something consistent to run between the Sox.

Yellow pad you are special. MJH are an afternoon show. From 3-7. They never ran into the Bulls or the Sox except for a half hour for pre games. I thought you were referring to evenings and Murph's old show. His old show was 6-10.

They should put Murph back in the evenings....I wouldn't be opposed to him working maybe alongside a partner from 6-12 (i say 12 because most night he wouldn't get on until after 10)...

I second the Murph at night motion!

I like murph at night too, mainly because I can listen to him at a reasonable time being 3500 miles away. It would be like an afternoon show for me.

but i do remember when murph was on nights and weekends, his show seemed more enjoyable. it was more laid back and enjoyable to listen to.

Given 2 or 3 hours at night to do it, I'd say you'd never find a better post game host.
