Love this guy sometimes!

Wants to know why the Tigers will falter in the 2nd half, and challenges callers on any/all points they attempt to make. Usually, the call ends with Holmes making fun of a comment made.

Over this past week, Holmes has made several comments that he believes Mark Burehle is hurt. How does he know this ? Because he does't look right to Lawrence.

When he said this, my first reaction was, "What doesn't look right ? His mechanics ? Tipping pitches ? What" ?

Although I may even agree that I wouldn't be surprised to find out something is wrong with Buerhle, I find it interesting that Holmes will have attitude with callers not giving good enough reasons why the Tigers may slide, but it's okey for Holmes to suggest Buerhle is injured without anything of substance to back it up, other than 'he doesn't look right'....

LoHo's calibar of sports commentary has dwindled substantially over the past few weeks, and I agree completely with your post BD. He seems to ask a question to his audience that he apparently already has his own answer for, and is merely searching for someone out there who shares his demented thought process.

Guess what Holmes, you won't find him.
