your weekend programming is driving me to listen to your competition. goff and abatacola are two of the biggiest idiots i've ever heard. it's like a bad college radio show. please give us some quality local shows.

The weekends are a wash my man--it's time to test the waters with your bench players. I'll agree that zaidman, canellis, hub, etc. are nails-to-the-chalkboard radio....But, I gotta disagree with Abbatacola and Goff; it definitely needs polishing, but there's a lot of potential with these two.

And, anyways, who would you bring in that's decent that would work for those peanuts? No one would take that offer.

Abbatoacola and Goff are Boers/Bernstein lite...they think playing sound drops, making fun of callers makes a great show......those guys are just horrible, at least of late.

I like them when they stick to sports, and not try to be funny....why not be funny while covering/talking about sports ?

it was really the treatment of callers on saturday. some dude from grand rapids was calling in saying his tiger pals were really nervous. i thought that was a little interesting, but G&A start making fun of his chicago accent and calling him racist. just went way off base...

I've got news for Drinky. He's got a little bit of that Chicago, midwestern nasal accent. He tries to hide it but it slips out. Plus Goff is the last person to make fun of somebody's speech. He's got a lazy spech pattern and can't pronunciate very well. Fix that and then blast the callers guys.

Drinky - my comments about your show with Golf sucking was more about a particular show than overall. I think you guys are entertaining when you stick to talking sports, and having actual conversation between youself and with callers who can put a sentence together. I do think that there are too many times when the sound drops, and the laughing at anything/everything is Boers/Bernstein lite, and that's when I flip.
