What an insulting thing for Jim O'Donnell to write about Jen Paterson. He called her a "kewpie foil". I'll admit I had to look up "kewpie". Here is the definition.

That's a good point. It's probably true. That is O'Donnell's style. I'll bet Pappy might have planted it for Jen or told her to plant it. I'm just glad we have a "sports media" column again. We were the only ones doing it for a while.

I like Sarah Kustok, but Jen Patterson replacing the Joe Piscopo-looking Josh Mora? Gimme a break! There's a certain sports anchor who now works at 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com middays with Mac & Spiegs, and they were chanting "Kerry! Kerry!" like Jerry Springer gets at the beginning of his show, which relocates next fall to WCIU 26 The U. That's Kerry Sayers, who has the face for TV, and she knows it.

Sarah Kustok is a sport reporting butcher.

She was picked up as a alt sideline reporter for VS's and was quickly dispatched, she brings nothing to the table besides seen split ends and an annoying voice.

Iam all for women sport reporters but Linda Cohn she isnt, and never will be. Her interview with Kane the other day was a train wreck. Shes better off doing the shot the puck segment when theres a hot broad in lowriders swinging a hockey stick, that way her fail goes unnoticed.

No way Comcast can have Jen as an anchor/reporter. It would be embarrasing for CSN and Jen. Jen will be reading the teleprompter, mess up, lose her nerve, panic and make it worse. This will happen more than once. It will get passed around on youtube and she'll be a national laughing stock.

Plus the decision makers at Comcast will look stupid and they'll lose credibility with their bosses. They already look stupid for doing "Monsters in the Morning" and bringing in a felon as their main sponsor that didn't have the money to pay them. They had to cancel "Monsters" cuz they were bleeding money. How many more mistakes will "CSN Chicago" management be allowed?

How do you fire Josh Mora and Kerry Sayers to hire "Jen Jen the Engine"? Seriously. Mora and Sayers are, at least, competent TV broadcasters.

If Jen Jen stays at Comcast, I don't think it would be as a Gail Fischer/Sarah Kustok type....

She would probably be one of those reporters on that cheesy show, you know the one where the reporter is at various games in the city asking people questions for money/prizes to see how much they know about the team? I can't think of the name of it, but it only comes on at odd times or rain delays...

You might be right. I think we're all commenting cuz of what O'Donnell wrote. He made it sound like she was replacing Josh Mora. But, like Good Dophin said, maybe Jen or Pappy leaked it to him for pub and CSN isn't really considering Jen.

Kustok is terrible at her job and it doesn't help that she's not very attractive.

Jen-Jen "acting" like she knows sports is both comical and very sad at the same time. They should hire my wife,who knows squat about sports. At least she is smart enough to be in on the gag and would play it for laughs. That in fact is what Jen should have done from day one! Just admit to being ignorant and say at least,I'm cute!
