Can you explain what this post means? There is nothing at the 1:13 mark that explains it. Are you saying that Danny B is taking the 5-10 slot at the SCORE? That doesn't make sense.

Danny would be in a fistfight with Gridiron Assassin before the end of Bears training camp.

It was a strange, and obviously, bogus call. I think the details (like WSCR, 5-10 etc) were included just to make it sound more legit. When Adam pressed him about the logistics and time slot, the guy clearly got caught in his lame lie.

Seems like the guy just wanted Adam to riff on Bonaduce, and tried cramming in some ridiculous setup to make it sound like a legit "bad situation that needed to have it's brightside exposed".

Mitch lets me take calls on WSCR before Bonaducci does.

A lil surprised Carolla and his crew let him through their screener. I think the Adam Carolla podcast is all people from a radio show he had at one point, which you'd think implies (i) they know how to google who's the WSCR drive time guys and (ii) they're familiar enough with radio to realize that WSCR was a sports-talk station and that danny bonaduce (i guess that's the actual spelling) wasn't going to be doing sports-talk.

Never been a big Adam Carolla fan, but have listened to his podcast a bit lately. His most recent one has a discussion of "terrestrial" vs satellite vs internet radio with the former head of CBS radio programming Rob Barnett.

It sounds like a bunch of ex-radio types commiserating over sour grapes, but I guess at some point in recent years there was a CBS-radio-wide purging of large-contract on-air talent which was driven by necessity and that it's not done yet as revenues continue to decline for terrestrial radio.

Maybe Mac and Meat need the paycheck from their anniversary party.

Carolla with a more diehard sports guy would be a great show
