To be honest, Weber couldn't afford to sue North. Very few of those guys could afford to sue him and risk losing the case. Some of the guys were out of work at the time anyway (Fred and Chet). Jesse and George landed on their feet doing about the same thing they were doing before they left the Score. Hood was a part timer barely hanging on at ESPN 1000 and ended up returning to ESPN 1000 to continue barely hanging on.
The only ones that were really screwed were the nobodys, Weber and Bock. I remember Weber was getting some air shifts before he ran to the criminals, North and Hernandez. But c'mon, it's not like Weber and Bock were destined to be sports media stars anyway. I doubt very much either of them would have been. It's not like we lost the next Bob Costas or anything like that. We probably just lost another Joe O and Rock. We'll survive. No offense Joe O and Rock.
Still, I feel worst for them. They were young and naive. North flashed a 6 figure salary in front of them and they fell for it. Should have known better but they wouldn't have been the only ones to fall for it. The older people that fell for it are dumb asses. None bigger than North. My God, is that "street smart kid" a dummy.
