Pronouncing names correctly is fine. I can put up with Wayne calling Andre Rienzo-- Andre Hienzo, since in portuguese the R sounds like H. Fine, be a show off, Wayne.

But please, please, stop calling Adam Eaton--Adam Eat-tin!

Do you call water--wat-ter?

He also sounds like he's speaking baby talk on words with L's in them.

Stop speaking weird, Wayne. Please and thank you.

Wayne has a little 'tude, when talking baseball, because he is the voice of the Kane cougar. I don't doubt Wayne sees a ton and thus knows more than the average fan, then educate the fan that calls up and stop being a smug little dick when average guys call up and make a mistake. Go ahead and explain it.

I can't be the only one who can't stand listening to this guy. As a baseball junkie, I'd like to listen to a baseball show on Saturday morning. But with Wayne's weird voice and pronunciation of almost everything, he's really hard to listen to.

And Bruce Levine isn't much better.

Mike Esposito filled in last week, and did a fine job. He should host more often.

Agreed. He does a solid job, he's a regular guy who relates to the fans and treats callers respectively. I enjoy listening to WSCR when he pinch hits.

How come Bernstein hasn't gotten him fired yet?

Actually sounds more like he is talking with a smirk at the end of every thought.

When he was on with Bruce. Bruce had to pause at the end of each of Waynes comments because they all seemed to be a shot at Bruce , being old, etc. With the exception of working fr the White Sox, I suggest trying to get along with a radio partner is a good idea.

I often said Wayne should be more a part of the station, especially the past 3 years with his alleged minor league information, but instead of offering any real information he basically does the Danny act of telling people how wrong they are, as of his knowledge of the minor leagues is god given and didnt come from sitting on his in 100's of single A games and just watching.

The whole media 'I know more than you " thing is really terrible, especially when you hear them talking to a guy who might ave spent a whole day in a factory or working somewhere and didnt get any news, then they turn on the Chicago sports station....then call with a question...to be hung up on by some little shit.

One of the biggest reasons The Game will be missed.

What does Esposito do outside of the Score? Does he work at CSN or BTN or something? The Score rarely uses him, but he's been there at least eight years.

Not sure, CH but I heard him say the other morning that he saves up some vacation days from his full time job in order to fill in on The Score - especially during the holidays. That's a stand up guy in my book.

Bruce Levine is really bad.

Plus, his Mr. Reinsdorf and Mr. Ricketts thing is very burrito.

Yeah, definitely.

Sucks that Randazzo is going Team Bernstein, because he was getting a lot of support here. Not that it matters, of course; it's probably better for his career to be on Team Bernstein than to be respected at the CSFMB. Still, the Score needs more respites from exasperated know-it-alls.

Levine is terrible at radio. He is actually very connected to baseball people though, so it's a tradeoff. He's broken a lot of signings/trades etc way before anyone else had them.

Just my take.

Right, he's fine for a 10-15 minutes segment to discuss his breaking news. He is just brutal when given a show.

Bruce might have the voirce or personality that makes him Mr radio, but the guy has more information than any other reporter in baseball.

Those who used to find him a pain in the ass when they played now respect the guy for the tenure and see how he helps them and those who now play do respect him as he is approaching that Sam Smith status.

Levine is indeed a knowledgeable and valuable guest who is tolerable in small dosages but as a fill in 3+ hour pinch hitter?.. Keep it.

Amazing how quickly Randazzo picked up this attitude towards callers. Instant PTFB.

Actually, emulating Berns is a career killer. I liked Wayne at first, but he is smarmy and arrogant and like Berns, isnt capable of having a discussion with someone who doesnt agree with him.

I like the Dazzler for the most part though he is a bit too pompous. Bruce gave him a smack down yesterday when they were discussing pitch framing. A few more of those will put the young punk in his place and make him a more enjoyable listen.

That segment was terrible. All Wayne did was mention Montero's framing then Bruce and the dope caller went off on him.

I did hear parts of that exchange, and correct me if i'm wrong: Bruce really hates any sort of SABRmetrics.
